Abstract

The aim of these pages is twofold. On the one hand, they offer a reflection on the relationship between language and ecology, broadly understood and highlighting aspects in which languages and their use in the form of discourses affect the interpretation of issues related to the environment. On the other hand, an exploratory analysis is offered on the treatment of different concepts of ecology and the environment in three different types of texts in Spanish (journalistic texts, legal texts and activist texts) and in several Spanish-speaking countries. The texts are part of the HCIAS-Umwelt corpus of Heidelberg University.
