This article addresses some of the most outstanding aspects of Rafael Trelles’s exposition at the October Gallery in London, as well as the concept of the artistic experience in its broader sense. Some details of one of the painter’s most striking works are brought to light to elaborate some ideas about the phenomenon of light, the configuration of shapes and the games of color.
