Abstract

During the institutional visit to Puerto Rico by D. Santiago Muñoz Machado, Director of the Real Academia Española and President of the Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española, the Academia Puertorriqueña de la Lengua Española held an extraordinary session of its Numerary Members on November 16, 2024. D. José Luis Vega, Director of ACAPLE, delivered the official welcome address, and several academicians presented reports on various activities: seminars offered, collaboration with Editorial SM, the Tesoro lexicográfico del español de Puerto Rico (Tesoro.pr), the project for revising Puerto Rican terms in the DLE (Diccionario de la lengua española), and the revision of the Diccionario panhispánico del español jurídico (Pan-Hispanic Dictionary of Legal Spanish).
